Websites on History Channel Mistakes?

Post by Lord Poe »

Are there any websites that show the mistakes the History Channel has made? Something like www.badastronomy.com?

Dunno if there are any, but Sweet Boiled Baby Jesus but that's a good idea! :D

Gawd, I could make a whole site on just "The Great Ships" series alone!

Yeah, everyone I know has found mistakes in History Channel things, especially when it's on their particular area of expertise. It's like they go out of their way to fictionalise things... on the History Channel.

Eh, I've had a bit of a beef with the History Channel ever since they aired this documentary that they hyped up as being about Civil War reenactors, and maybe spent about 5 minutes on actual reenactors and dedicated the rest of it to this flaming whackjob who was protesting taking the Confederate flag down at the South Carolina capitol. Stirred up the ire of a lot of reenactors, Union reenactors particularly, since it basically ended up implying that we all were a bunch of racist fucktards.

That'd be a big website.

That'd be enormous work. The Hit... the H. Channel makes lots of mistakes in a given translation, especially if that covers some of the more obscure things from World War II, or World War I.
Lì ci sono chiese, macerie, moschee e questure, lì frontiere, prezzi inaccessibile e freddure
Lì paludi, minacce, cecchini coi fucili, documenti, file notturne e clandestini
Qui incontri, lotte, passi sincronizzati, colori, capannelli non autorizzati,
Uccelli migratori, reti, informazioni, piazze di Tutti i like pazze di passioni...

...La tranquillità è importante ma la libertà è tutto!
