Kind of cool but I don't see it replacing gasoline just due to weight. However as a way to extract hydrogen, it's kind of neat. I have no idea how much energy in put into mining, and gallium is in the same boat if not worse but that might be due to it being in a nitch market right now....

Anyway, kind of cool.

Interesting idea. Very interesting. The aluminum isn't that bad, the gallium is worse due to its relative cost and rarity compared to aluminum, however, as the article notes, they don't need the super pure stuff that is normally used when gallium is involved. What cool is that you can recycle all the waste except for the heat.
