Honor guardsmen fired for blessing
Right! According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, an honor guardsmen at a New Jersey veterns' cemetary was fired because after the service he would say 'God bless this family and God bless the United States of America'.
However, he would only say it when the family had a clergyman or requested a chapel service. He is currently considering filing suit to get his job back.
So, what do you think?

Sounds ridiculous. What was he fired for? Just common courtesy to religious folks, based on this information.HemlockGrey wrote:Right! That's patently absurd. He was utilizing discretion, so I don't see how this would qualify as any kind of offense.HemlockGrey wrote:Right!
