From what little I know, Taoism, Bhuddism, or Shintoism.

Why is it the eastern ones seem to be the most easygoing?

Who needs a hardcore conformist, "Do what we say or die!" religion when your government's got that market all to itself?

That's only China and North Korea (aka 'Bad Korea'). Japan is, on the other hand, a lovely country where Christians are the minority. :D

Minority is an understatement, Utsanomiko. IIRC, less than five percent of the population of Japan are Christians.

yeah, and even then it's not taken as 'serriously' as in the Western world, iirc. It's just another thing they use to aknowledge their ancestors and have a mythology to observe, at the most. The real fanaticism is among the Otaku, not Christians.

I'm still picking nihilism as my alternative, if that's the case.
