Seriously though, look up and see a night sky absent light pollution and most atmosphere. Yeah, we get the same effect with orbital telescopes nearer t earth, but the panorama helps it sink in that this... is the sky.

Despite the barren terrain, that's actually quite stunning. Reminds me of night in the desert away from major cities.

It's pretty, but it's not quite real. It's just his daytime panorama set to "dark" with the night composited with a picture of the Milky Way taken by an observatory in Chile.
