Simple question that I couldn't find a clear answer to:
Do charged particles accelerating with reference to a non-electromagnetic field emit electromagnetic radiation? For instance, if I'm an alpha particle in low orbit over a black hole, am I radiating power (ever so slightly)? If so, does my orbit (ever so slightly) decay?
