Well, to be honest, I only gave it a skim. But I'm surprised that something so non-literalist is up at RR.This IS the same Rapture Ready that has the massive forums, correct?

Actually the forum links to that page, so I think they're connected. I just don't see a link back to the forums, so I wonder.

I don't understand these people. When confronted with the evidence of geology for a very old earth, they accept it's validity. But when it comes to evolutionary sciences, they go stupid on you. It's like they pick and choose the sciences they want to believe in. Unfortunately for them, science is not Burger King; you can't always have it your way.
The most basic assumption about the world is that it does not contradict itself.

If I could, I'd go back in time and watch the debate on the age of the earth between Charles Darwin and Lord Kelvan. Now THAT was a debate.

I agree with Wicked Pilot and add that many of the concepts behind the ideas in that article directly relate to many of the concept behind evolutionary ideas.

Also, it's always bothered me when a person can accept an all-knowing all powerful God, but then choose to limit their belief in what he would be capable of. If he was smart enough to create the universe, wouldn't he be smart enough to rig it so conditions would be favorable for evolution, or happen as a logical consequence?

Edited for clarity. And again for spelling :)

What can I say? It's common knowledge that not all Creationists believe the Earth only is 60.000 years old. They might not be too bright, but they're not all THAT dumb.

Is that guy even a creationist, from what it sounded like over here it seemed that he was an Evolutionist.
