Hitler is human, because frankly, what else can he be? I don't think aliens would bother starting wars on a backwater world like this. I don't believe that gods exist, so he can't be the avatar of Yun-Yuuzhan :D . He has to be human.

Unless your neighbour decided to tell the authorities that you are a heretic...
Ah, but that's still preferable to being slaughtered simply because you were born as a member of the wrong race.

That neighbour's still an asshole, and the inquisition still sucked, but it was also slightly less screwed up than the Third Reich.

Hitler was 19 during WWI and saw what was happening to his motherland. Even then he was smart enough to hide and survive to become the insane man everyone claims.
Check your information. The above is false. Adolf Hitler was born on 20.April.1889 (The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, Page 6), which makes him 25 years of age in 1914.

Hitler did not "Hide" during the war.

"As a dispatch runner in the First Company of the 16th Bavarian Reserve Infantry Regiment, he arrived at the front toward the end of October 1914 after scarcely three months of training, and his unit was decimated in four days of hard fighting at the first Battle of Ypres, where the British halted the German drive to the Channel. According to a letter Hitler wrote his Munich landlord, a tailor named Popp, his regiment was reduced in four days of combat from 3,500 to 600 men; only thirty officers survived, and four companies had to be dissolved.

During the war he was wounded twice, the first time on October 7, 1916, in the Battle of the Somme, when he was hit in the leg. After hospitalization in Germany he returned to the List Regiment--it was named after its original commander--in march 1917 and, now promoted to corporal, fought in the Battle of Arras and the third Battle of Ypres during that summer. His regiment was in the thick of the fighting during the last all-out German offensive in the spring and summer of 1918. On the night of October 13 he was caught in a heavy British gas attack on a hill south of Werwick during the last Battle of Ypres. "I stumbled back with burning eyes," he relates, "taking with me my last report of the war. A few hours later, my eyes had turned into glowing coals; it had grown dark around me. "

He was twice decorated for bravery. In December 1914 he was awarded the Iron Cross, Second Class, and in August 1918 he received the Iron Cross, First Class, which was rarely given to a common soldier in the old Imperial Army. One comrade in his unit testified that he won the coveted decoration for having captured fifteen Englishmen singlehanded; another said it was Frenchmen. The official history of the List Regiment contains no word of any such exploit; it is silent about the individual feats of many members who received decorations. Whatever the reason, there is no doubt that Corporal Hitler earned the Iron Cross, First Class. He wore it proudly to the end of his life." (The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, page 30)
He also claimed to be a devout Christian.
See the section on Wong's creationism page dealing with Hitler's Religion.

There is much more to know about Hitler, and Mein Kampf could be said to be Biased, as it was written by Hitler himself. I recomend you read a few objective books on Hitler, (Such as The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, by William L. Shirer) which will serve to put Mein Kampf in perspective.

Why would I want to? To learn how other's twisted views can consider other fellow humans inferior? Don't need to see that, it serves no purpose. I already know others are capable of such views.
I merely wanted to point out that they're extremelly accurate in comparing the jews with a rat infestation that everybody should contribute to put to an end.
Not only inferior, the jews were described as a pitiful plague, this validating the extermination.
Doesn't matter what the video attempts to portray, it cannot validate the extermination of certain groups of people. Those who believed them were/are mentally incompetent and lacking morals. Therefore, I have no reason to watch such a video since I can make that distinction beforehand.
To see how disturbingly affecting such videos can be, even when you know beforehand that the message they are going to portray is morally reprehensible. And if they can do that to someone who knows what the film is trying to achieve, then what must it have been like for the poor civilians who didn't particularly like Jews, and were already half-inclined to believe what the government told them?

Never ever assume you are immune to the effects of propaganda. Once you assume you are immune, you become that much more vulnerable to it (because you let your faculties for critical assessment relax).

You wanna see a Cranked-out Nazi Propaganda film, watch TRIUMPH OF THE WILL. They have Hitler come down in a plane and they used SFX to make him have a halo like an angel as he steps down from the airplane...

Interestingly enough, the film won all kinds of awards at the time, and it's director, Leni Reifenstahl is still alive and active, although not in the film industry. (PS... I could be wrong about the fact that she's still alive, since she's nearly 100 years old and could probably croak any day now..)
