I want to apologize if I'm taking this issue strongly, but I've always felt it's one of the "traps" that many people in the gay rights movement have fallen into--supporting the idea that homosexuality is caused by genetics. Because, if it is, then we're a genetic anomaly, and one that's liable to go bye-bye as soon as the technology exists for such to effected. Of course, that won't change our inevitable fate if the science is good, but the evidence largely seems to be that the science isn't good and that it's certain groups of people, rather, who desperately wish it was.
