Does anybody know any background on this "Chick", basicially who he is, where he comes frome, ect?

How odd, Finnish Protestants nearly worship the guy. Hell, their church is called The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland.

You can down load the "Catechism: Christian Doctrine of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland" as a PDF here. The damn thing is filled with quotes from Luther.

Chick doesn't have to deal with "facts" or "evidence." Why bother with those when you can make stuff up to smear other people with? When he started going off on how Catholics masqueraded as Protestants in order to kill the Jews of Germany, when he talked about the mythical Children's Crusade as fact, when he claimed that there were always Protestants even before they had anything to protest against, he completely left the basis in reality that he was working hard to generate.

Well he got one thing right, there is little loved lost between the Orthodox Church and the Vatican. When the Pope went around his last global tour, he past in the footsteps of St Peter, which naturally led him through Greece.

At first all the Patriachs and the Arch Dieces and the Bishops ordered all the churches to be closed to him, and for all Orthodox to turn their backs on him, it was only when the Pope wished to express an apology for the sacking of Constantinople that the Bishops would meet with him, and I swear even then most of them looked ready to lay into him :lol: !

Let me tell you, those Bishops carry some nasty sceptres, big fuck-off ones!
