Given that DNA is just a collection of covalent/ionic bonded aminoacids (that is, another collection of molecules), and it is present in every organic life form on the planet, I'd say yes it can, after all natural processes have lead to the evolution of the basic constituents into the strand of DNA, it's all about molecular bonding, nothing mythical about it, just plain electron sharing.
