Who was the Tipster?

Post by Straha »

Alright, now that the swarm is over who tipped off the WCOTC Donkey doers about us? One of our prime directives (that we really can't violate) in all of the INVASION threads was that we would never, but never tip creationists, Trekkers, insert the blank, off to our existence. So who did it? And if you admit it we might give you a nice title instead of a really mean one if we find out later.

Do we have prime directives? How.. Trekkish

What are they?

Anyway, Sheppard may be right about this. Probally they do searches for anything associated with them (guilty souls are never at rest) and stumbled upon their link. It's very very hard for me to believe anyone actually of the board would tip them.
Azeron and Sheppard are extremelly sharp thinking moderate likable individuals compared to them, I don't see neither of them doing a thing like that. And for more reason, none of the rest of the board.

I just had an interesting thought... John Clark. He or someone related to him has access to the board, as evidenced by references made over at PLA to myself and my cataloging of his whinings. He could have easily seen the link to WCOTC and tipped them off.

No, there is no mole, at least, not in the common sense.

They are using software that automatically detects who has accessed their URL, the same software most businesses use to keep track of target customers, only these guys are targetting youth for their brainwashing programme.

Whatever you do, copy and paste the link into your browser next time instead of clicking the hyperlink, that way if this is on any other board then they won't find them. SB.com could be next, but stangely both sides are thinking of uniting against a common foe.

Us & SB of sure I've been lurking there for some time, watching monitoring for a new realm of stupidity. But if it is 2 groups I say we unite and destroy them. Oh, anyone have the link too AVHS?

Lol, no point. ASVS is officially recognised here, many posters here are ASVS'ers, myself included though I am primarily an SB'er (stop booing!).

It would be nice if we all, for once, ganged up on the real evils and put aside our differences. Almost like ID4, but Macs won't save us this time.

It seems very unlikely Azeron did it. He is probably the staunchest defender of Israel on this board, and the WCOTC clearly go counter to that.

I though at first it was probably MKSheppard, but now that ASU coward's name has come up, I have changed my mind.

ASU coward, if you're reading this, thanks for the fun. I thoroughly enjoyed trashing your nazi comrads. Maybe next time you could send us a real challenge, we'd much prefer creationist. And if you weren't the one who tipped them, then fuck you anyway, just for being an asshole and wasting oxygen.

There's some speculation on SB that Acid Snake might be on the WOTC boards. Him being the mole is therefore somewhat of a possibility. I don't know if Acid Snake reads this place, though.

(Incidentally, I found this out while taking my first look into the SB offtopic forum. What a fscking dump. Makes an open sewer look good...)

You mean WTCOC. WOTC stands for "Wizards of the Coast", who makes all the new Star Wars CCG stuff. Of course, it's hard to argue which of the two is worse :D

You'd never been into non-scifi before?

Anyway, that speculation came about because someone over at WCOTC has the same avatar as Acid Snake.

That's what I said. I mostly infest the SF, art, and VS boards. NSF seems to be the village of idiots, even by vs. standards.

You mean to tell me that you guys have never, ever put a query into a search engine and had a bbs post come up as a hit?

That's exactly how I found this site: I was looking for material for a Star Wars campaign I was writing (D6, not D20) and I was looking for D6 versions of the stuff from the WotC books. I went to Google and, voila, SD.net. Not everything has to be a giant conspiracy: It could be that they were looking for like-minded bigots and found some of Azeron's posts.

Of course, having read through their posts it amazes me that these people are even capable of turning their PC on, let alone using a search engine...
