It would be fun to watch him actually debate some one intelligent about his "tracks"

The sad thing is that Christian bookstores sell them by the ton down here in the Bible Belt.

When I was a Fundamentalist, I would go into these stores and see them all over the place.

Chick's an idiot. But he's a widely-read idiot, which is bad. Idiots by themselves usually don't have the brains to spread their lunacy beyond their own little neighbourhood. Give an idiot the internet or a printing press, though...

In the case of idiots who spread beyond their bounds, I support shooting. In the case of Chick, I support a massive federal program wherein we figure out how to reanimate the dead, so we can shoot him again.

Guys, don't take this so seriously. I checked the website and read most of the pamphlets in a single sitting and I haven't laughed like that in a long time, and even some of the art is pretty good, so I say treat it as entertainment. Those who get sucked in by this garbage DESERVE it.

My real problem is that parts of it are ridiculously insulting to the groups that he is trying to depict. Some of it IS hilarious, like the part with the fundamentalist saying that losing something is the opposite of evolution, but when they have Buddhist religious authorities beating up people for no reason, and talking about how Muslims will kill people on sight for telling them about Jesus, and BUTCHERING the religious beliefs of other groups in an effort to attack them with strawmen, there is clearly a problem. Also, pamphlets like these grant legitimacy to many racist or fundamentalist groups, which often leads them to carry out similar attacks on innocent people.

I did a research project on Richard Leakey and he did not find a "Normal" human head 212 million years old. In fact, it was thought to be a Neandrathal.(sic) That is why he was so famous. He found the oldest skelton of ancient man. Not a Normal head. I dont know where the hell Chick is getting his information, But it is flawed.

The best explanation anyone has ever been able to give for that is the crappy religious statement that another part of the Bible says that to God, a day is like a thousand years (and vice versa). For God, the Earth is only 6000 years old because each day of those 6000 years is like a thousand years to him. Of course, it makes no sense. Of course, it can easily be refuted, but that is beside the point to people like that.
