Does my last five suitors (not at once) being four large black men and one small extremely smooth Mexican man count? I've had far better luck with black and Latino boys here than with white, Asian, or Amerindian (not counting Conrad) guys here in San Antonio. Now I get to see what's up in Houston starting this Friday.

Honestly, even though I am attracted more to the average black girl than to the average white girl, I find black girl hair unattractive. It's incredibly hard to maintain and plenty of black girls just chops it short and gets a weave. If there hair is really long it often smells bad because of either the product that needs to be put into it to keep it straight and/or not being able to wash it often.

I like long, straight hair. Or just straight hair in general. I don't see a lot of black girls with long, straight hair, but that doesn't mean I don't find them attractice. Short straight hair works perfectly too. As can a short 'fro or something to that affect. Depends on the woman.

I also heard young black girls had to put weights on the end of their hair to get it straight. Is there any truth to that?

On that note, I have found many black woman attractive. Hell, I had the hugest (and probably really sad, in retrospect) crush on a black girl in my senior year of high school.

Of course if I had to pick one above all? A hot Arabic chick with long straight hair not covered up in a headscarf. I find woman of all races attractive, but that type just really stands out for me. Yowza.

I've noticed there doesn't seem to be much outcry when someone declares a preference for different races. For example, most people don't appear to consider anything wrong with a white man saying he prefers the appearance of asian women whereas if he said he prefered the appearance of white women, that would be seen as racist.

If I remember the old debate correctly, it was over how literally one should/would define the word racist. By the literal definition of racism, then positive racism is also racism. So if you prefer partners of a certain "race", regardless of your own, you are by the literal definition a racist. The non-literal position was that the word racist has a negative stigma and that therefore someone who has a sexual preference/fetish shouldn't be called a racist unless they generally act according to "race".
So in your example that someone sexually prefers partners of a certain other "race", then by the literal definition yes you are a racist, and by the non-literal view it depends on why you have that preference and if you show similar preference outside of your sexuality.
I think that the debate ended with someone getting banned.

What Stark said really. A hot woman is a hot woman. I have yet to find a race or nationality that does not have its share of hot women - and living in London, it's fair to say that I get to see women from several different parts of the world on a daily basis.

As for those who say it's the same as preferring women with a certain hair colour - maybe so, but surely that is also a form of prejudice, isn't it?

Frankly i have standards of physical attractiveness completely indifferent to skin color.

You fit that description you can be fucking blue for all i care. Though i will admit, i find Asians who fit that description especially attractive. I love the way their faces look, their features are just beautiful to me, but not to the exclusion of all others. And because of my neighborhood having relatively few black women who fit that description all but one of my girlfriends have been hispanic. Again, not to the exclusion of all others.

White, black or what ever, I don't care, if she's hot, she's hot. I got certain personal "standards" by which I "judge" the attractiviness of women, but none of those include skin color.

I noticed exposure seems to be a factor for some of the gents who've posted here. When I was younger and living in a mostly white community (with a sprinkling of asians), I don't think I even really thought much about black women or men in a sexual way -- there were few black people around and at that time TV was still very segregated (I know it still is, but it was worse say 15 years ago when I was a teenager). It wasn't that I was turned off by dark skin, it was that I never really thought about it. Teenage fantasies tend to be about the people they see in life and on TV, after all.

Now of course, having spent the entirety of my adult life in a major city, I've certainly fallen into the group of guys here who are saying "hot is hot" regardless of skin color. Living in a big city is like having a sampler platter of hot men and women around!

Yes, although there are degrees of racism. One of the real sticking points in the earlier flamewars was the idiot assumption that racism is a binary value: either you are or you aren't, rather than asking how much of a racist you are. It's like saying you are either honest or dishonest; people do describe others as honest or dishonest even though there is not one adult on Earth who has never told a lie, and it's all a matter of degrees.

Considering I've met several black hotties I'd jump in the sack with without the slightest hesitation, I'm not really sure what the point of the question is myself. Some features I'm not overly fond of, such as a larger, flattened noses, but there's some girls I've seen that actually works with that. . . .so for me it's more a matter of physique and build than skin color.

I find the question funny. You'd have to be extraordinarily racist to deny attractivness in many women, simply because of color.

As for it, yes I've met and dated black women. All women can have features both good or bad physical features that have nothing at all to do with color of their skin.

Not often, but I do find some black women exceedingly hot. Strangely enough, the black women that I've found most attractive often turn out to be dating white men.
