In the article they do say he's answering yes/no questions with his foot - nobody seems to be saying he's completly vegative, just that the more poetical outpourings might be imagined.

Certain of what the keyboard? Memory is hazy so not sure. I am sure that they were not looking at the keyboard, their hand was being held by someone and they were jabbing the keyboard. This is not a matter of them typing whilst sitting on a computer, their hand was being held by their care taker and they were otherwise pretty unresponsive.

So yes, most of it is completely bogus. Perhaps there are a few cases were it is genuine but most of these obvious cases are not.
