If they were saying that and they were unarmed, you might be right, but an implied death threat is more than enough when you're pointing a gun at somebody.Sriad wrote:To be totally honest I don't know if 2000 death threats would stick. They didn't actually SAY there were going to kill the people, just implied... there would probably be some lesser charge like felony assault or disturbing the peace or something.

"One Sunday morning during church service, a 2,000 member congregation was surprised to see two men enter, both covered from head to toe in black and carrying submachine guns. "

And the author and some of you folks believe these are the good guys in this story ? Holy crap, no wonder religion gets such a bad rap on this website. My faith would tell me my first responsibility would be to haul ass outta there and stay alive to provide for my family.
I think a General Patton quote serves here, it something to the effect. Patriotism isn't about dying for your country, it's about letting some other bastard die for his country. It's a subtle point.

"As a member of the First International Church of the Fucking Christ, I believe it is blasphemous to mention His holy name without including His holy gerund. And, moreover, it is a mortal sin to remove His holy name, gerund and all, from any text in which it appears." -Chad R.
