I chose Buddhism, mostly because it's the least militant major religion. Rest assured, it is a religion; Zen is a philosophy. Buddhism has quite the pantheon of gods and demons and the like, and is rife with ritual and whatnot. As a matter of fact, most Buddhists in North America are really practising Zen, because they're doing the meditation and such without the tiresome ritual.
Fun fact: in traditional/strict Buddhism, the best a woman can hope for is to be reincarnated as a man. Only men can achieve enlightmenment

It's nearly impossible to be a Christian and follow the Bible to the letter because there are so many contradictions.
I'd have to go with Buddhism. Can we pick the sect?

I choose the Jedi Order. Seriously, though, I'd go for Buddhism because it doesn't try to cram things down other people's throats, and I think you're allowed to follow your own path to enlightenment.

Yes. Buddhism does not have what Christians insist on calling the "Great Commission" of converting people. Their attitude is more like "this is what we believe; you can join if you like but I really don't care whether you do or not".

What he said. . . we've got our nutters to, but they don't seem to have the same influence over politics that yours do. Maybe it's that system of legalised bribery you've got going. . .
