God, this so much reminds me of the LAPD/SLA BBQ, the tear gas gernade allegedly set off incindiary bombs inside the SLA's LA HQ, and resulted in the deaths of the five most wanted terrorists, and some of their low rent area neighbors. Everyone thought the entire organization was dead until Patty Hearst and Co, showed up a few months later.
