Look closely and you can see evidence for Falwell being a closet bisexual, or at least getting most of his understanding of homosexuality from clost bisexual anecdotal examples. His view seems to be that homosexuality is a temptation, like temptation to steal or lie. Makes me think that he has been "tempted," and assumes that since he still finds females attractive (presumably), that must be the case for everybody, and the people who claim not to be attracted to females are deluding themselves.

Actually, that's a halfway-understandable way to reach the idiot conclusion that sexual orientation is a "choice."
