What exactly is satan guilty for? He flood the world and kill everyone, nor destroy Sodom and Gomorrah, he didn't cause the plagues in Egypts, he didn't direct the tribes of Israel to go on a genocidal campaign against their neighbors.Zero132132 wrote:I imagine that if there is actually a Satan, he'd be much more of a nice guy, now. After all, he's only guilty of the same thing God is, and he got absolutely fucked for it.
Now I could have missed something, but all I see in the Bible are allegations that he takes advantage of "Security Flaws" in humanity, flaws intentionally left there by their creator.
Take the story of Job if you will and look at what the compassionate god did to win a bet with satan. The devil didn't do that to the poor man, god himself did.
What do you mean you don't believe he lied, as posted earlier god claimed that those who eat the fruit shall die that day? They ate the fruit but didn't die.And no, I don't believe he lied,
I don't see how it was a moral choice at all. If I point at a poisoned apple and say, "Don't eat that apple, it's poisoned and it will kill you before nightfall" and you eat it anyway, have you made a moral choice? It isn't a choice between good and evil, but a choice of personal survival. Had he said that eating the apple will cause a dozen cute bunnies to die, then it might be a moral choice because that is a selfish option.Seems like a bloody odd thing to be pissed about, being as he's angry at them for making a supposedly immoral choice before they knew what moral was... meh.
