How incompetent must the defense lawyer be to allow this level of bullshit to occur?

If it was a public defender I can understand, but otherwise there's just no excuse.

You know, this trial seems like so much bullshit, it could only happen in a movie. Or if we were only getting one side. Has the prosecution released any documents like this? This just seems like so much bullshit that there must be some evidence that the family's current legal counsel isn't letting on.
