Of course. Terrorism is a highly effective way to effect change if you have the power to back it up. Very positive lesson that those old stories teach us
I don't mean to actually start a huge debate, but if 'your people' were enslaved, and there was no other recourse, what would you do?

If you have the power to kill millions? Kill the slavers, not their children. What the fuck is so hard to understand about the simple morality of attacking only those who directly harm you, instead of helpless innocents? Why the fuck do Christians feel compelled to defend even the most heinous acts if they're in the Bible?

why not simply make the egyptians go "oh were sorry, we shouldnt keep slaves" if god is so all powerful.

The entire idea of an allpowerful god destroying shitloads of people makes no sense at all, he would simply snap his fingers and change things to the way he likes it without giving people the opportunity to get blown up.

So what would you prefer, from a viewer's POV. The Moses of TPoE or Heston's Moses in TTC?

How about something which shows both Moses' point of view and the Egyptians' point of view? How about showing Pharoah's advisors breaking down in tears when the Lord hardens his heart every time he's about to falter, using him as a puppet so he can showcase his evil destructive power? How about a POV which shows the cruelty of the whole thing? Ah, but of course, that wouldn't sell very well to the Southern Redneck Bigot Brigade.

What's the worst that could happen if some TV show released "anti-Christian" content? Hate mail by fundies? Cancellation?

Depending on how strong it is, you could see anything up to and including massive boycotts, protests, etc. The parent company would take a big hit from advertisers pulling their money and would be forced to cancel.

Look at Falcon and how he leaps from "no religion in government" to "anti-religion Nazis trying to eradicate religion"; fundies are all too eager to claim persecution at the slightest provocation. They would claim that any show bluntly criticizing Christianity is "hate propaganda", liken it to Nazism, and demand that it be taken off the air. Moreover, they would undoubtedly get their way.

Don't forget, there should be one of the average Egyptian family who has their first born cruelly die on them. :D

Just a question: Wouldn't that expose Moses as a delusional megalomaniac??

So, I guess this would be a no-no.

Demon: HA! Crosses don't work on me, I'm a Christian!

Guy: WHAT!?

Demon: I love Christianity, all the bloodshed their god calls for. it's a real treat to see, especially when some moron decied to actually carry that part out instead of the lovey dovey, weak-kneed ponces that seem to be everywhere,

guy: But that's not the point of chrisitiantiy!

Demon: it is to me! A Genocidal, homophobic, self-centered, mysoginist diety is just what us demons need!
ISARMA: Daikaiju Coordinator: Just Add Radiation
Justice League- Molly Hayes: Respect Hats or Freakin' Else!
Browncoat
Supernatural Taisen - "[This Story] is essentially "Wouldn't it be awesome if this happened?" Followed by explosions."

Reviewing movies is a lot like Paleontology: The Evidence is there...but no one seems to agree upon it.

"God! Are you so bored that you enjoy seeing us humans suffer?! Why can't you let this poor man live happily with his son! What kind of God are you, crushing us like ants?!" - Kyoami, Ran
