Can someone explain Global Warming to me?

I have heard Mars is also undergoing global warming, that the C02 caps are melting away.

I have also heard of the Earths core is rising as well, even though I do not know how true it is.

Yes, it could be, and global warming is caused by a number of factors, including the actions of a great deal of organisms.
Thing is, though, that human actions add to these factors by about (guessing, actually but I'll look it up) 50% (of the total) - thus almost certainly speeding the process up.
I personally think that mankind has to take some responsibility if we're able to affect the biosphere that much, and the effect it has on other organisms is nearly as important as any detrimental effects on humanity.
