Just register. It isn't that hard, or that big a deal. And they accept g-mail as an e-mail so it isn't hard at all.

A Government founded upon justice, and recognizing the equal rights of all men; claiming higher authority for existence, or sanction for its laws, that nature, reason, and the regularly ascertained will of the people; steadily refusing to put its sword and purse in the service of any religious creed or family is a standing offense to most of the Governments of the world, and to some narrow and bigoted people among ourselves.

We have them almost every year. It just so happened that this one (actually, I believe mini-tornado is the correct term) arrived in an urban area and caused chaos.

She's just and ignorant proselytizer.
Kathryn wrote:Look, if you really care to argue go to Derek-web boards, they could help you out just fine there. If you truly seek God you will find him. I can promise you that. If you truly seek just the answers you will begin to understand that sometimes there are things are as so much as a part of you as you would like them to be. The majority of the world is Christians. Can you deny that? Lives are changing because of Christ. You can’t deny it. There's a church every corner...So, how do you know what to believe? How do you know you're not just playing a deck of cards of 3s and 2s? I observe that you seek explanation for everything, any given statement. I'm sorry to point it out to you, but that is how you seem to pursue... You only seek explanations...you seek an answer to all these disasters in your life...which would really make sense if we were in your shoes, which I was also at one time. I would understand we are wired as humans to understanding why...I wonder why. Many times we wonder as Christians why...Many times we don't have all the head knowledge we could use to explain why things are happening to us, I won't deny it. I'm not omniscient. All I can know is that I believe. I believe you can’t count with any one sort of mathematical conjecture how much Jesus loves you. I don’t believe you can count with your sciences how many tears God has cried over you, his child. As you continually reject him, as you become a Devils advocate. You only have so long. That is all I can say. You only have so long to deny yourself. You only have so long to step out of your comfort zone to find that it never really was. You only have so long to ignore Jesus. One day every tomb will confess he is God. One day you will bow before him. One day you will reconsider what I have said. There is no human explanation for God. That is it. You can’t explain anything, many of much being in of awe. Do you know what awe is? When there is no logical comprehendible significant that to confess with the mouth is simply pointless because you yourself could never truly explain it. I’m telling you don’t have to. Turn your eyes upon Jesus. Look full in his wonderful face….and the things of earth will grow strangely dim, in the light of his glory and grace. His words shall not fail you he promised. Believe him and all will be well. Then go to this world that is dying, his perfect salvation to tell. You won’t regret it. Your skepticism you will very well in due course have to reject. Jesus wants to trade you with something you can’t keep anyway (your world) for something that is forever meaningful, a relationship with him. It is your choice. I can’t convert you, but the spirit of Christ warns you. Amen

*sigh*. So in other words, "Yes God and Jesus are real entities and they care about you. They want nothing more then to love you and have you do everything righteous so you will be EVENTUALLY reunited with them. They are all powerful, can do anything, have foreknowledge of everything, and can INTERVENE in anything."

BUT, they somehow allow an illusion of free will to do what you want even though they KNOW what you will do...Don't care how "aware" you are of them and whether there is any reason demonstrated to believe in them over any other religious concepts....Even though they have this amazing all powerful knowledge AND ability to do anything at all, they will not come forward in any testable way, or even in any well PUBLICIZED way in this day and age of video recorders, scientific verifiability of real vs. fake, etc.
They "care" so much that all humans with their incredibly brief lifespan of a mere few decades or so is judged for ETERNITY and punished horribly if they don't "believe" blindly.

How can people really take this seriously?
You have to realize that most Christian "moral values" behaviour is not really about "protecting" anyone; it's about their desire to send a continual stream of messages of condemnation towards people whose existence offends them. - Darth Wong alias Mike Wong

Your guess is as good as mine although I think I may have recognized some of the things he/she has posted came from Mike's evolution part of the webpage.

The site is down.

Was it disbanded by the admins? Was it attacked? Did the backers yank the site because it was becoming embarrassing?
Or is it mere technical trouble?

And will it be back?
And should it return, will it be wiped clean?

Oh well, none of you know, I'm pretty sure... just noting the event 'for the record'
