A while back, someone asked what would happen if the U.S. disappeared -- still here but no one could see it. Here's a variation on that question:

What would happen if the United States dissolved itself as a government, dissolved all states and protectorates, ripped up all the structures (roads, buildings, everything) gave all American citizens and their families the equivalent of $250,000 in the currency of the country from which the majority of their ancestry derived, and sent everyone home?

The $250,000 figure might be a bit too high, I don't know if there is enough wealth in the U.S. for that.

So, what would we do with naturalized Native Americans?
