I think I've only met one person that said they'd rather be a common genius...

I would rather be a common genius, simply because I can't stand fools, idiots, morons, stupitiy etc. To be a king of fools would leave you isolated, with no one on your level, but a common genius means you will be surrounded with people who are your equals.

Yes, I voted on the common genius option too.

At least I could communicate and work as a team with other "common" geniuses...

Common genius. What's the point in being a king if you can't use that wealth for "purposes" and may even be outwitted out of it?

Common genius.

In fact, I've often said that I would LOVE to be, without changing or altering my level of intelligence or erasing my experience at all, considered the most unintelligent human alive.

I would like to be a king of fools pretending that he's a common genius. Oh, wait, that's what I already am.

I'd rather be a common genius, since I can't stand morons, and with other common geniuses, stuff could get done. Fools will just do stuff wrong and harm everyone.

Being a king of fools would atract enemies. As a common genius I
could weave my plots with noboby the wiser. I also can't stand morons, fools, ignorants, etc.

Hmm...I should have said that you would be a genius if you were a king of fools, not just another fool. Oh well. This was interesting. Personally, I chose king of fools, I'm power-hungry. So, if you were a genius, would you still want to be a king of fools?

Oh yeah. And you're NOT the only genius around, there are others, just that you rule a population of morons. :)

If this were the case I would still choose common genius. Because if I had to rule morons for any length of time, I would probably just end up getting fed up with them and order their execution or something like that.

I can't choose. Common genius means I'm surrounded by sensible people but king of fools means I can will these fools to do as I wish, to good ends. Both are very appealing.

Actually I think I'll take king of fools. I'll make them do good things...make real my great visions for the universe [insert generic villianous laugh] MUHAHAHAHAA!!!

I say King of Fools. It doesn't say that if you're the King of Fools, you'll be smart. So, if I become a fool and a king, all is well.

Oh, and XPViking, nice avatar. Gotta love JR Jr.

Both are appealing.....but the chance to use the fools in my evil schemes and draft them into my Legions of Terror (tm) is too much to pass up....
