What is secular hedonism? I just got a book on Aleister Crowley today, and it said he transitioned through secular hedonism in the Table of Contents.. so what is it?

Right...secular hedonism (non-religious actions in pursuit of pleasure) is different from secular humanism (non-religious actions in general). Humanism tends to focus on improving the general lot of humankind, while hedonism focuses only on self-gratification. It basically means he was a selfish bastard
