Out of a Black Hole, a Lecture by Stephen Hawking
Black holes ain't as black as they are painted. They are not the eternal prisons they were once thought. Things can get out of a black hole, both to the outside, and possibly, to another universe. So, if you feel you are in a black hole, don't give up. There's a way out.
Stephen Hawking, the British theoretical physicist, is best known for his contributions to the fields of cosmology and quantum gravity, especially in the context of black holes, and for works written for the general reader in which he discusses his own theories and contemporary cosmology. These books include the runaway science bestseller A Brief History of Time. His scientific career spans over 40 years, and while his books and public appearances have made him an academic celebrity, his wit and his humanity have helped bring the most abstract principles of space and time to life.

i thought the same exact thing.
His lectures are always very intellectually exciting, and if you have a basic understanding of black holes, you can always learn something new. I wish I could attend.

ooh, I didn't think about the thread title being interpreted that way. I would not be opposed to a mod renaming the thread.
