Has anyone checked their local weekly paper lately and seen the following ad:

New Times Classifieds wrote:SAFE SEX, GET PAID! $1,000/WK!
Men 15+ All Races, Married or Single

This has got to be a scam, but I'm not sure...

In all likelyhood it's a scam. Either way it's something illegal so why worry?

That ad's been runing for years in the New Times, if it was illegal I think they would have been busted a loooong time ago....

Now, I've never seen ads that called for 15-year olds... But these things really do exist.

There are several clinics that put out such ads. One is the more obvious condom/lubricant/spermicide testing, but generally they don't need too many test subjects and therefore don't put out ads all that often. Still, some such offers do exist.

Another reason for a similar ad would be for nymphomaniac therapy. I'm not joking. Sex addicts, like all addicts, need to be weened off sex. So people are employed to have sex with sex addicts for a limited amount of time, so many times a week in decreasing amounts until a combination of therapy and sex deprivation "cures" them.

Some entrepreneurs want people willing to have sex on film for low-budget porn films or webcam broadcasts. Depending on the opportunity, people can make relatively good money at it: Up to $1000 a week, as the ad claims. But that generally means having sex six times a week for 8 hours at a time, and I'm guessing that you'd be pretty tired by the end of that week.

::Nods:: Good point. It would depend on state laws, of course. I know that in Massachusetts the age of consent is 16, so long as the partner is between 16 and 18 as well. So it would still be illegal here.

Hmm... I don't know a whole lot about nymphomania, though, so I don't know if someone could be a sex addict prior (or that soon after) the realizing of their sexual identity. But then again, people mature at different rates, so it could be possible to have a 15 year-old nympho.
