If you had your own mini-universe (demi-plane, whatever they call them) would you place yourself above the law?

Yes, it's my universe and they knew what the terms were when they came so there!

No, no one has the right to be abusive, even if it theirs

I would partially, just so I could be above certain things, like speeding, etc, but not major things like murder, etc

Yessssss, and I would also make it so they have to sacrifice thier daughters to me if I so desire! Or like that guy tried to do to a bride in braveheart

Yes I would....just take the microsoft EULA approach

Well, it isn't so much that I would put myself above the law, but rather, in the words of Judge Dredd "I am the law."

--I would maintain the rights of all life (sound absurd? too bad it's my universe). However, since it is my universe I get to decide who gets in and what stuff they get to play with.

Given that my Demiplane would only be big enough for my DOOM PALACE(yay), and the only people in my DOOM PALACE are my friends and the harem girls/boys, I think we'd be too busy to break laws. But I'd probably put myself above the law, just because I'm an arrogant prick.

Depends, natural law or moral/human law.
Moral human law is well and good and doesn't need anyone to be above it, natural law...
Well, I wonder what rides they have in Infinite Fun Land.

In my personal universe victimless crimes, like speeding, would not be illegal in the first place.
Devolution is quite as natural as evolution, and may be just as pleasing, or even a good deal more pleasing, to God. If the average man is made in God's image, then a man such as Beethoven or Aristotle is plainly superior to God, and so God may be jealous of him, and eager to see his superiority perish with his bodily frame.

Of course I'd be above the law. And I don't believe anyone who says they wouldn't.

I say I'd work for the good of humanity and myself (Especially myself). While people work toward world peace and that happy-crappy stuff, I get myself a fast car, a big house, and some hot chicks. Which option would that be?

Of course I'd be brutal as hell. The Christian God acts this way towards his universe, why can't I?

I would be above the law, but that doesn't mean I would abuse the privilage.

I sure as hell wouldn't. I am far to fallible to be placed in a position of ultimate power.

So noble.
What is the point of having your very own universe then, I ask you.
In my talons, I shape clay, crafting life forms as I please. If I wish, I can smash it all. Around me is a burgeoning empire of steel. From my throne room, lines of power careen into the skies of Earth. My whims will become lightning bolts that raze the mounds of humanity. Out of chaos, they will run and whimper, praying for me to end their tedious anarchy. I am drunk with this vision. God: the title suits me well.

And so the great SirNitram said, as he spake unto his disciples:

"ALL THE CHOCOLATE YOU COULD EVER WANT!"

Furthur affirming The One Truth: There is but one God, and that God is SirNitram, and that God is wise, infallible, above the law, and loving.

I would be above certain things for sure. Sexually Transmitted Disease, bankruptcy, broken bones, etc. But my own personal ethics would keep me from becoming a Pol Pot, or so I hope.
