the Governor of my State was just caught 'allegedly' having an affair with a woman that he sometimes took on business trips. The first the public heard about it was the Governor *announcing* that he'd 'wronged his wife and children' by having an affair, then the rest of the story broke.

(personally, having seen the woman's husband on TV, I'd have sexed the governor too! Compared to her long-haired, skanky, musician-without-a-job hubby, the governor looked damn good.)

Don't know how this will affect his re-election next year, but so far his wife's still with him, and his kids are standing by him.

If he's a Democrat, there is likely no problem. If he's a Republican, then his carreer may be over.

That said, I'd bribe the kid to not tell so I can keep my genitalia/asshole intact.

depends on the circumstances, if i am in a marriage where my wife and I came to some form of agreement, spoken or unspoken about the occasional extramarrital romp (so long as it is equal for both i see no real objection, im not a jealous man) then i would explain such agreements to the child.

If that wasnt the case, it would be a difficult choice, most likely i would come clean, but part of mewould want to pay off the kid and be done with it.

If I were married, I would never allow myself to indulge with another with my kids in the house. That is simply a lack of foresight and intelligence at play.

If they somehow did find out, I would deal with it. Bribery does not work, nor would I allow myself to be in a position where my children have control over me.

I would never cheat, so it's a moot point. But if you force me to imagine that I did anyway, I would have to say that I fess up immediately and beg forgiveness. After shitting all over one's promises, the last thing you should do is make up more lies.

I would never ever treat a woman like that, and are disgusted by men that do treat women like that.

However, if for some reason I found myself in that situation I'd love to think that I would do the right thing and tell the truth immediately. But I honestly don't think I would. I can't be certain without actually being in that situation but logically if I can somehow get over the guilt of actually doing the deed I can probably get over lying about it. Which is why I could never go that way.

It's practically a physical impossibility for a child to catch me having sex, much less cheating! I won't ever have any kids, plus I won't have sex with anyone unless there are NO kids of any description within earshot.

In other words, it'll never happen.

I don't cheat on Dave anyway.
