Hunting Saddam, an exercise in Quantum Physics

Post by SyntaxVorlon »

Current US intelligence states that Saddam was in a resturaunt that the military blew up.
But due to the number of doubles SH has/had his death is an unknown.
So, a living breathing Schrödinger's Cat is in Iraq, though the living and breathing part is wholey hypothetical, why aren't physicists working on this one?

Maybe cos it would be piss hard to find out where without any limits to his whereabouts, and recent information of whereabouts? Perhaps if you limited the points he could hide, it would be more possible to guess where he is at. Dunno if the 'cat' applies to this scenario. If someone more clued can come up with something, please let me know.

I heard that the restauraunt was the only Western style restaraunt in Baghdad- it was a fast-food joint. Can you imagine Saddam carrying a tray? He wasn't there.

There's a slight chance that's the real deal. However, Hussien has more impersonators than Elvis Presley. In fact, I'm surprised the Iraqi army didn't consist entirely of Saddam impersonators!

Or Elvis impersonators. That would've been cool to watch on CNN...

I couldn't bear to see The King die like that.

Schrödinger's Cat is one of the most abused concepts in the histroy of physics. Unless Saddam's health depends on whether an atom of a radioactive element is decaying or not, it's not relevant to this situation at all.
Don't hate; appreciate!

You're probably right, it really only applies natural chaos. But this may be an example of that chaos, that's all I really was pointing out.
