To all the HAB people (regarding armour)

First of all, I hope this is in the right forum (it is regarding a real life scientific issue).

Are there any good sources out there on the Internet that go in to the theory of armour (i.e. types, construction, effectiveness, etc.) for armoured vehicles, be they tanks or warships

I tried both a Google and Yahoo search and seem only to be able to come up with homepages of companies that install armour plating or mecha pages .

I would prefer something that deals with real life armour issues

I'd agree with all that except I'd replace fas.org with globalsecurity.org. Far superior website.
