Old pat is defending Charlie Taylor, out of fear that the god-fearing baptist government will be overrun by Muslims.
Also he has a little multimillion dollar mining being done in the country to benefit the poor 'people' of the region, as in Christians.

Every time I see Pat Robertson on TV I get a thrill of horror. You know, looking upon the face of evil and all that...

It's no surprise that he's in bed with Taylor, and calling it humanitarian at the same time.

It warms the cockles of my heart to see him aging so badly, so frail, and in poor health. With hope, he won't be around much longer.

Not the first time, he used his fead the hungry in Africa program to ine diamonds. I recently lost many of my bookmarks but can probably search it out if needed.

The problem is that NO ONE wants this network because his show always comes with the contract to run it, and his show kill ratings.

Personally, I always thought that Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell made a lovely couple (OK, good joke, very BAD visual, sorry).

In all seriousness, I always thought both of them had more than just a few screws loose, but I never thought of Pat as being that schrewd. I have to give him credit for that.

What aboslutely kills me is, even with all the news reports of this, and other ludicrous things that he has done in the past, people still believe in him, still contribute to his damndable 700 Club, and still send him money. I find it frightening that Americans are such sheep.
