What i find sad is that the boy prolly meant the Crusades, not knowing abut the Battle of Tours, and even then Saladin (Sahal al-Din?) mopped the floors with the King of Jerusalem. (Interesting young man... was dying of Leperosy, but fought to defend his country)

i dont believe any true christian should marry an unbeliever. it is so easy to pulled down to thier level. i was reading a christy miller book where christy's youth group did a little demonstration on just how easy it can be. "katie christian" stood on a chair, while "peter pagan" stood beside it. when katie tried to pull peter up, he didn't budge. yet all peter had to do was one tug and katie tumbled off!
you can say this was because the guy is stronger, and that's partly true. yet i have a real life example of the other way. my uncle is a christian, and he has been all his life. he, however, married a jewish lady. she has NOT converted, if anything, he's fallen away, cause she still goes to the synagogue and is a vegetarian and EVERYTHING. they just had a little baby girl, and my uncle is letting her be raised jewish. if I was a guy in that situation, i'd put my foot down and say she's MY daughter too, but he didn't.
anyhow, that's my point on this.

I honestly can't read more than a page of ANY of their threads... my gf gave me some 'Satan takes over your children (dum dum DUM!)' book and its the same... these people totally ignore rebuttals! They ignorantly restate! They calmly throw out phrases like 'unbeliever' 'unequally yoked' and (my favourite) 'created to worship and adore god' like they *aren't* offensive!
