Oh anyway this new guy that I've found is really... weird.
He says that the scientific method is wrong and bad because scientist don't use their emotions and intuition when they work. I tell him that it's because emotions and intuition are subjective. Scientists wouldn't use them because they want to objective. Then he says that the only way of getting real objective knowledge would be by only using intuition and emotion.

He also don't think that something can be random, because that would interfere with the way he think the world works, or something. I tell him that some things really are random, like nuclear decay. He says that we just don't yet understand the underlying principle and therefor we just think that it's random.

His next "point" was on logic. He claims that logic is relative to the curvature of space, and in order to achieve true knowledge we must abandon the logic and use "reversed logic" instead. If we do so, we would realize that a circle is really a square and vice versa and nothing is something and (this is how he thinks the universe was formed. more on that later on) 1 = 0 = -1.

He couldn't give any proof for his ideas because they would be "to complex" to write down, that you "have see it for yourself" to understand. His latest excuse for not giving any proof was that science can't be used to disprove science

Okay, here's how he thinks the universe was created:
In the beginning there were nothing. From that nothing came two forces; a negative (-1) and positive (+1). (This was possible through the simple equation (-1) + (+1) = 0, and this would supposedly prove that something can from nothing. Just take out the (+1) and you have something

He claims that we would understand that he is right if we explore the "timeless" dimension. I told him that it is impossible to explore something "timeless" because of several reasons. He didn't respond to that point however.
God also had something to do with all this, but I can't remember what. Probably nothing important. But we could speak with him trough the timeless dimension.
The guy suggested that I should read some of the teachings of Tao, so he obviously was a taoist. I was under the impression that taoists was intelligent people, but it seems like I was wrong. Is this really what taoists believe in? Do they believe that science is a religion with it's own fundies and that logic is relative to the curvature of space? WTFF if they do. And this is supposed to have influenced Star Wars?
