Comments: 1). What is the very best evidence you have for macro-evolution.
Micro-evolution. Lots of micro-evolution will eventually cause macro-evolution by definition.
2)Name ONE fossil that has been accepted by science as a transitional form.
All of them. Or to put it another way, name ONE fossil which has been accepted by science as a NON-transitional form.
3). Name ONE living species that has been confirmed by science as a transitional form and why.
All of them. Unless we are all wiped out, we will continue to evolve.
4). Explain why, if evolution is science, then why does it fail all criteria as dictated by the scientific method.
You obviously have no clue whatsoever as to the nature of the scientific method. It pains me to see this kind of abject ignorance emanating from my own country.

It's quite sad to watch someone debunk a theory without realizing it in no way resembles the actual scientific one.

I think Evolution is one of the most MISUNDERSTOOD concepts in science.

BTW: Anyone see the recent mini-series on Tech-TV about evolution?

Indeed. That and the Big Bang. It's rather hard to try and explain M theory to the Creationists. I haven't got into one arguement over creationism where they didn't try and pull the Razor out on me and say that God creating everything is much less complex to explain than 2 Universes colliding in the 11th dimension membrane.

The only Razor these dumb-fucks understand is the one that was used to disconnect the left-hand side of their brains.

Occam's Razor is why belief in God is irrational. It can hardly be used to justify creationism.

Mike, how do you know this moron is from Canada?

And yes, it always hurts when a fellow countryman is a complete idiot. I generally lump the worst contenders as being disgraces to their country, and DarkStar was a disgrace to his entire hemisphere. So yes, it is terrible.

Deeply, deeply depressing. At least we have fewer ignorant creationist dumb-fucks around here than they have down in, say, Alabama, but it's still vexing all the same.

Corpus collusum seperations are funny. The person will try and button up a shirt while the other hand unbuttons them just as quickly. It is amusing

It's mostly because everyone thinks they understand big bang theory, but they really have no clue about it. Everyone's interpretation of big bang theory tends to be "Duh, there was a big explosion or something." No one really gets the idea of an explosion being, at best, a poor approximation of what actually happened.

In Portugal religion has nothing to do with state school.

NZ state schools do not have religion either except as part of things like history, however private schools may have riligous education, providing they also use the state school curriculum. Maths here is not as good as it could be either, but a lot depends on the teacher.

Darkstar was an insult to the movie Dark Star, a fine production made by the same people who did aliens.
