Nope, but I like his work. Good insight, but he seems to lack a willingness to look at other conclusions.

The newsgroup is filled with some really anal people.

For example, one guy posts ten points to further an argument all backed up with quotes taken from various websites on the matter, another guy takes one point and gets the original book the quote came from and finds that the quote posted isn't quite right. He then calls the first guy a lier and a fraud for not persuing correct 'scholarly methods' and flatly refused to respond to any of the other points in the argument.

I really don't like Noam Chomsky (probably no suprise to anyone here). I haven't been to AFN-C though.
