Its quite interesting in that it might mean we may be able to get the same 'power' out of adult stem cells as embyonic stem cells. Which might get us around all the whole screaming over using leftover IVF cells. And FINALY get us on the road to intense funding and sciencing in this field.
Possible breakthrough in stem cell reseach...

Wow, pretty interesting. I wonder from exactly where in the mucosa they're getting it? One of the most active zones of neurogenesis in the neural network ARE the olfactory bulbs that are migrated there from elsewhere through "tracts." Maybe some of those progenitors are making their way more superficially than thought before?
