It would be cool if it could be verified, researched, and harnessed. Hmm with a lil cybertechnology.....

Dogs communicate with body language and facial expression, and they have a damned big vocabulary, too. *looks at parent's dog* ....must feed dog...must feed dog....

This does not strike me as being a reliable news source, CNN be damned. Looks like this is a storage ground for all the WTF stories submitted by their newest greenest reporters.

Flawed experiment. Instead of thinking that the dog has better senses than humans or they could read body and facial expression they think that they are psychic.

I'm assuming that is what is about cause I didn't read the article :)

I read the article. All it says is that dogs are very perceptive of human emotions, but it makes no reference to supernatural phenomena. It discusses only mundane forms of communication such as picking up facial expressions, tones of voice, etc.

In other words, it was a fucking slow news-day, because this is a "duh" story if I ever heard one. Anyone who's ever had a dog knows they can do that.

Leap in logic. Dogs may be better at interpreting human gestures and commands, but saying that they're psychic or can read human thought is a ridiculously absurd leap in logic.
