How far away is the end of the corridor here really?
Any rough guesses? I suck at stuff like this, I'd wager maybe 50meters...

The Blast Door secitons you see on the floor should be 5-8 Meters apart, Count the Number of Sections(6) and you end up with a figure between 36-48 Meters Long

After two minutes observation and no real calculations I'd agree. More precise scaling is possible but just place it at 45 should work for whatever he needs it for.

Figuring out how fast the blaster bolts that where fired immediatly after went.
They took 5 frames to cover that distance, so thats roughly 220m/s for the blaster bolts.

Any chance of getting that in US units...? I don't have a conversion table with me, and I don't remember off the top of my head how many feet are in a meter.

Yes well there's a large amount of evidence that seems to indicate the visible part being the killin' part.
Most striking would be the times when a bolt is in the air on it's way to a lethal impact and is stopped.

Seems to me that if it was an invisible killing beam it'd been to late in those cases.

.1367 miles
1.094 furlongs
240 yards
481.2 Cubits

And 1237 Russia pyad's

Of course. British system is a remnant of the corrupt bourgeouise oppressors which must be dethroned by the proleteriatarian metric system.

That's an absolutely terrible gas mileage, by the by. Something like .005 miles to the gallon or so.

It was forty rods to the hogsheads, still awful, a tenth of a mile the gallon I think. Worse then an M1A2.

That's easie! Just calculate the length of your thumb and divide it by the amount of meters. Add the average size of a cow's intestine and multiply it by the amount of time it takes to drop a yardstick from a ship. That'll give you the equivalent in Imperial units.
