(For the second paragraph below, "RFN" may refer to either West Germany if the text is from the Cold War, or all of Germany if the text was written after the Cold War. I'm assuming it refers to East Germany?)first paragraph wrote:In accordance with the data that the Soviet Union presented after signing agreements on limiting conventional weaponry, it had in Europe the following numbers of tanks. Soviet tanks limits in Europe.
Where I wrote "IV-5", the original text had "V". I'm assuming it's "IV-5".second paragraph wrote:IV-1 European territory of USSR, Poland, Hungary, Chechoslovakia, Germany;
IV-2 Germany, Hungary, Poland, Chechoslovakia, Baltic Military District, Belorussian MD, Carpathian MD, Kiev MD, Moscow MD, Ural MD;
IV-3 Germany, Hungary, Poland, Chechoslovakia, Baltic MD, Belorussian MD, Carpathian D, Kiev MD;
IV-4 Hungary, Germany, Poland, Checholosvakia;
IV-5 Flanks from Atlantic to the Urals - Leningrad MD, Odessa MD, Caucasian MD, North-Caucasian MD
4839 was the number of T-80 of all modifications stationed in E. Europe in 1990. Looks pretty similar to the numbers shown here (with an obvious greater number of tanks in USSR proper).I wonder if the T-80 data is actually real
