Chinese rebuilding post WWII & civil war

Chinese infrastructure was badly damaged during WWII and no doubt further during the civil war. What I am interested in is where did the financial resources that repaired the country come from. Internally, foreign aid, in which case which countries etc. Any resources would be appreciated.

I know it's been a month after the thread has been started, but I'll bump this up. This
Russian PDF can be easily convered with auto-translate. The book's obviously not available in English other than by subscription to Project MUSE. Howerver, this mostly concerns the tech transfer. The Soviet-PRC credit (which has been often described as one of the most liberal credits even) in 1949-53 is not discussed there in great detail.
