Need I remind the Commons they have no power aside from the right to speak? You need to have one of the Senators start a vote thread in the Senate and have them vote on it. Hint hint Senators in this thread who voted.

I happen to find strikethrough comedy to be annoying spam highly amusing, and shall vote accordingly.

I don't care so much for sub- or superscript, but strikethrough is a necessity!

Lets get past the vote for membership and/or since this would be Mike's call anyway I'm not even sure that we are in need of a Senate vote. This is sort of a "sense of the board" resolution since it (like other non-policy matters) is something the Senate lacks the ability to enforce so a vote there would just be a "sense of the Senate" resolution as well.

I view the HoC as an advisory board to the senate so that they can get a clear inclination of how the board at large feels on certain issues and choose whether or not to vote accordingly.

Why can't we vote on it? How will the Senators know what issue we want them to raise on the Senate floor if we can't back up the statement that "a lot of people want this"?
