We like to take a little more time than six hours in the middle of the night (for most posters) to run the discussion before we make the vote thread, especially because
only the one thread was cited as evidence. No, Spyder, it doesn't sound like support for a vote poll, it sounds like you jumping the goddamn gun.
Also, I
did look at his other posts which you apparently think make him worthy of a VI, and they're strictly garden variety and not even worthy of note. The thing about the soul is him being a credulous fool and not really able to form a strong argument, fine, but it isn't VI-worthy. On its own that thread would never even have drawn real attention to him. You're just reaching for justification because he pissed you off in one thread. So yeah, it does come down to one example of him being exceptionally stupid. Moreover, he has a fucking post-count of thirty. I'm pretty sure we can afford to wait until he goes one way or the other.

The reason it's a tradition instead of a
rule is we expect the Senators to be able to keep it in their pants for more than thirty seconds. The Senate was created in part because all the public ban polls we used to do were completely farcical, anyone proposed for a ban would get voted into the trashbin with a 90% margin. So show some restraint, guys. Anybody can be stupid once or twice, especially a fucking newbie with less than thirty posts. He'll have plenty of opportunity to earn it later, so let's wait for him to actually earn it.
