So everyone is aware I do track voting in the sense of seeing if there is a consistent pattern of anybody missing votes. I do this by reviewing, at the end of each vote, the undelivered PMs and then double checking the vote threads to see if someone voted but has not yet looked at their PM announcing the vote.

Any case where there are at least 4 consecutive voting abscences I do a board-wide search for postings within the last month and if there are none I usually kick a request up to the admins to see if I missed someone's declaration of a LoA. If the Senator has either delcared a LoA or remains out after the 5th vote they become inactive in my tracking sheet until they post again in the Senate or indicate that they are back.

If you know you are going on a LoA please notify me in advance and I can switch you to inactive then until you notify me of your return. This obviously eliminates all the legwork I'm currently doing.
