Re: [Discussion] Graeme Dice
Yeah, it's time. I move that we begin our poll to determine punishment.
Something about Libertarianism always bothered me. Then one day, I realized what it was:
Libertarian philosophy can be boiled down to the phrase, "Work Will Make You Free."
In Libertarianism, there is no Government, so the Bosses are free to exploit the Workers.
In Communism, there is no Government, so the Workers are free to exploit the Bosses.
So in Libertarianism, man exploits man, but in Communism, its the other way around!
If all you want to do is have some harmless, mindless fun, go H3RE INST3ADZ0RZ!!
Grrr! Fight my Brute, you pansy!

I'd like the options to be
1. No action required
2. Title
3. Temp ban 1 month
4. Temp ban 1 Month +title
5. Permanent Ban
If we get more than fifteen votes for any two punishments then we have a run-off between those two options.

Re: [Discussion] Graeme Dice
He also sent a PM about Shep to me, but I thought, "eh, he's just venting his spleen" since I'd written that post defending the thread. Now that I know it's part of a mass-mailing of the board, though, that casts it in a very unfortunately different light. So much for Marina's being calm rational and reserved about this one; it's permban time. Consider the proposal for such a poll seconded.

I'll second the motion to temp ban him while the poll is underway.

To make up for my earlier error of mercy:
It seems Graeme really is willing to get himself banned, alas, to continue his claimed moral crusade against Shep's existence. The Duchess of Zeon wrote:
You know what, Graeme? We're both ASVS-era people, and so's Shep, and seriously, lay off him. He is not stupid; he's an utter genius at research.Graeme Dice wrote:So what? He's a worthless human being. The Duchess of Zeon wrote:
More seriously, what the hell has Shep done to you? I'm stepping in here to defend Shep because he deserves it, from an unwarranted attack.Graeme Dice wrote:He deserves every attack he gets, and should realistically still be in jail. He's not worth defending because he gloats about the fact that he's an utter asshole.

This is the kind of behavior that should get your ass dragged to the Senate for punishment. I further support a temp ban until the poll has been concluded.

Re: [Discussion] Graeme Dice
I revise my earlier statement. Permanent ban is the only acceptable option in my opinion.

I am inclined to agree. I know how I'm going to vote.Edi wrote:The PM campaign clinches it as far as I'm concerned. I just lost any inclinations trying to salvage anything out of this. I have no objection if someone puts up a ban poll, as that's three separate counts of breaking the vendetta rule so far in addition to the other trolling.

For those interested, GD is trolling the HOC thread about him with more insults targeted at Shep.
