For those people who keep whining about Bush being the root of all evil,
they forget that Presidents change, but the FEDERAL BUREAUCRACY does not...

The same people go on working through Reagan, Bush I, Clinton, and now
Bush II, enforcing their own views of laws, and basdically fucking over us peons....

Trust them with what? Some things I trust them with, others I certainly do not.

About some things yes(Things I'm directly involed in)

I trust our Nations Military, and long evidance leads me to belive that Social Secruity will be fixed in time(They have been saying it so long people acutaly belive everyone and thier cousin wants to kill Social Secruity, more likely it will bumble its way on some-how as it always does)

I DONT trust around 2/3 of the Goverment but some parts I do

I trust certain very specific parts, but on the whole, no way in hell.

But then I must ask, whose national government can you trust?

trust... government... isn't that an oxymoron?... not only no but hell no, I agree with some things, I don't agree with somethings, and on somethings I think that the old men at the top are a bunch of crack heads... IMO of course.

FUCK NO! The underlying principle of "true conservatism" (which is more along the lines of what liberalism used to be) is to NOT trust government for more than basic needs, not any of this typical right-wing shit they're preaching nowadays.

PORTUGAL, THE NAME IS PORTUGAL :D

One thing good about the government in small countries like mine is that is a lot like state government. The government is forced to be near the people they represent, by geography.
And they answer to nobody else.

And we don't have fundies!

I trust them for the most part. They are made up of the people who make up the country. Sure, we got some bad apples, but for the most part the government is good. Its guided by some good principles (US at least) and its hard to have a massive conspiracy when the primary decision makers can be replaced or it would require a couple hundred people to all agree on one thing.

Yeah, bad things do happen, but I sure as hell would rather live under the US government then 90% of the other governments in the world. I can trust it to stay out of my life and keep me safe.
