It's that time of year in pittsburgh again, time for the Comicon this year and after around 250$, I've recieved this bootey:

-Hellsing Soundtrack

-Cowboy Bebop soundtracks

-Book of Archetypes 2

-Iria: Zeiram the Animation

-Wolf's Rain Box set

-Tekkaman Blade Complete set

-The Returner

-Kentucky Fried Cthulhu Tee

-Plushie Shoggoth

-Summer Fun Cthulhu

-FLCL

Ands thats about it. Almost bought Risk: 2099. Cowboy Bebop box set and a Nyarlarthotep plushie that looked oddly like a Elder Thing.

You actually managed to find a complete set of Tekkaman Blade? The original 46 episodes or Tekkaman Blade 2?

How did you get the Wolf's Rain boxset so early? How much did it cost? Is there any chance you could get another one?

It's the japanese version I assume and its the Comicon.
How much did it cost?
Fifty bucks
Is there any chance you could get another one?
Sadly, no. I work close all weekend so my friend can have off and go to the Comicon all weekend. Jobs are grand.

Are you sure it isn't a bootleg? Japanese DVDs are ungodly expensive, a whole box set would never got for only 50 bucks.

Its a bootleg methinks.

Domestic release isn't till June:

And there is no Japanese box set as far as I can see. www.cdjapan.com lists 10 individual DVD's, but no box.

Does it have subs? If so, then its certainly a booteleg. None of the R2's have them.

Nice haul, you bastard. BAAF's cancelled this year because of the Republican National Convention :P

Anyway, sounds like you got some good stuff. Enjoy Iria; it's a very cool anime.

Bootleg? FAH! Please. It has the same plastic slip that my brothers Hellsing complete set has, my friends RaXephon complete set and his Witch Hunter Robin. I think it lacks dubs. The discs even have the pretty art on them. Whoooo! As for Tekkaman Blade, I have no clue who released it, but I'll get back to you on it.

I don't know about the Tekkaman Blade set, but the other sets you have mentioned are all bootlegs for certain, except for maybe the Hellsing one. Wolf's Rain, RahXephon, and Witch Hunter Robin all have not yet been released as complete sets with subtitles yet.

Tasoth wrote:Oddly, I have a feeling they're imported. And by box sets, I mean the complete sets, not sure if thats throwing anyone off.

EDIT: My borther has this, only in a flip out version without the box
RahXephon set my friend has and I have sitting at my house.
Witch Hunter Robin Complete set and Wolf's Rain complete set on the same list. Huzzah!
That Hellsing box is the only legit one box. As far as I can see, there was never a box released in Japan, so any other is likely a bootleg.

The Witch Hunter Robin one is a bootleg, so is the Rahxephon one.
