What would they be. I will give mine after the first few posts

If I encountered a genie that could grant me three wishes:

1 - The ability to untraceably access, comprehend, and manipulate any and all sources of data that have been invented or that could ever be invented, until the day I die.

2 - A lifespan of roughly 60,000 years. This lifespan must also include enhanced physical charactaristics, such as enhanced strength, speed, agility, and hearing. Also, a robust immune system easily capable of dealing with any and all diseases that would evolve over the course of the aforementioned 60,000 years. Said lifespan must also include youth for the entire period.

3 - Genie must immediately divest itself of any and all supernatural powers. And when I say divest, I mean disperse utterly so that aforementioned supernatural powers will no longer exist in any way, shape, matter, or form.

Once the genie has divested itself of all supernatural powers and becomes mortal, I will promptly kill him/her/it with my new abilities. I will then use my newfound mental abilities to slowly accumulate a large sum of cash. I will then use this cash to nudge intelligent, but violent people into politics. At the same time, I will also be using my money to educate intelligent and reasonable people, and nudging them into moving into selected safe places. I may also recruit followers . . . agents to carry out my bidding.

The result of me meeting the genie will be the death of half the planet's population. With enough nudging, the war to end all wars will quickly be brought about. I only trust myself and my closest agents to bring about an end to human stupidity. However, due to my careful manipulation, intelligent, educated and rational people will be concentrated in selected conclaves. These conclaves will be reasonably well off after the war due to more carefully applied monies.

My conclaves of educated and rational folks would bring about a quick end to the post-apocalyptic wastes and put civilization on the right track. And since I'll be around for 60,000 years, I can continually push civilization in the directions I want it to go.

So ha!

Wish #1: Wish for an infinite amount of wishes. Duh!
Wish #2: Wish that the genie (or whoever/whatever is granting my wish) reads my mind and grants the wish according to how I envision it and not any other way. (No Wishmaster shit. )
Wish #3 and beyond: Whatever I feel like doing.

Damn! You took every conceiveable idea from my head. Althought my third wish would be to free the Genie when I am satisfied.

Actually, if I got 3 wishes from a genie in particular, I'd wish the bastard into far, deep space. Not that I'm completely unselfish, but if I found a genie, I'd take the corresponding legends of the genie to heart. And that basically means that I'd be dealing with a demigod that was so mischevious and powerful that powerful humans had to find ways to seal them away from hurting everyone. But, being human, they left a secret way to access the spirit in order to force it into servitude. However, the story goes, the genies although enslaved still managed to trick and kill their masters pretty much every time. Even the beneficial genies only didn't kill their masters because they were either bored or felt they wanted to prove their indominatble power (vanity being another genie trait).

Frankly, I wouldn't want to deal with something whose only thought would be "I have to do what this guy says, but how can I make it so this person suffers and dies as a result of their wish?"

Wish #1: (assuming wishing for more wishes isn't allowed and htis is a benevolent genie who won't twist wishes) A full assortment of various pyschic powers. Telepathy, precognition (short and long term), telekinesis, mind control, pyrokinesis, electrokinesis (piss me off? I'll turn off your neurons), with the potential to develop and refine new abilities as I grow in power (up to and including warping the fabric of space-time).

Wish #2: A full array of physical powers, including eternal youth, superhuman strength (augemented by telekinesis, perhaps), speed, senses, complete indestructability, and shapeshifting.

Wish #3: Complete control over these powers, including the ability to pass some or all of them to anyone I please, or remove them as I see fit, and the inability for anything in the universe, including the genie himself, to remove them from me.
